Amber Daley
Growing up, Amber Daley spent her time immersed in story — whether that meant building a lamp-lit fortress of books in her closet, creating her own DIY wallpaper-and-duct-tape-bound versions, or writing angsty poetry and embarrassing journal entries during her teen years.
As an adult, she began writing for local and national publications, which opened doors to other opportunities — namely, introductions to organizations around the globe that often struggled to tell their stories via then-emerging online platforms. Seeing content’s emergence onto the digital scene, she shifted her storytelling focus to copywriting, blogging, and social media.
She now owns Pixel Press Content, Ink., and specializes in content ideation and strategy, content creation and curation, social media management, and one-on-one consulting. Her clients have included Micron Technology and other innovators in tech, leaders in the travel and hospitality industry, and world-renowned artists. Currently, she works with a handful of local and regional brands and most recently joined SMHeuristics as the company’s Director of Communications. Amber became a member of Go Lead Idaho with the intent to learn from and connect with other women leaders in business. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, mountain biking, camping, and advocating on behalf of CARE, an international humanitarian agency dedicated to delivering emergency relief and eradicating global poverty.
Amber’s book recommendation: “In 2019, I’m trying to read one book a week, so my current favorite is always what I’m reading at the moment — which, right now, is book number 17: Evicted — Poverty and Profit in the American City. (But ask me next week, and that’s sure to change!)”
