Heather Olsen
Heather Olsen works as a program specialist at the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare for the Children’s Developmental Disabilities Program. Heather has been with the Department since 2007 and has worked in a variety of roles for the program during that time. She has nearly 20 years of experience in the developmental disabilities field.
Heather is a proud College of Idaho alum (Go Yotes!), graduating in 2003 with two bachelor’s degrees in psychology and history and a minor in anthropology and sociology. She earned her Masters of Public Administration from Boise State University in 2017. She has previously served as a NICU parent mentor and as the president of St. Luke’s NICU Family Advisory Council.
Heather spends her spare time pursuing a life of health, fitness, and fulfillment. She, her husband, and her two young daughters recently adopted a family goal to travel the world together and they love making plans and dreaming of their next big adventure!
