Michelle Headrick is a fourth-generation Idaho Native and graduate of Boise State University. She has worked in information technology space for over twenty years and currently serves as Director of Product Management for Cask, a consulting firm specializing in business transformation based in San Diego that has invested in growing in the Boise area. In her role, she is responsible for the agile delivery process for large scale development initiatives and growing the digital product management team nationally.
Michelle joined Cask in 2017 to lead the Interagency Resource Ordering Capability (IROC) program as the Product Owner. IROC was a two-year development initiative that went into production in March 2020 enabling federal, state, and local agencies the ability to share resources in the mission to protect lives, homes and property from wildfire. IROC was funded by the US Forest Service, endorsed by Wildland Fire Information and Technology (WFIT) and is part of the National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG).
Michelle has found a lot of meaning in volunteer efforts, especially those that support empowering girls and women. She has served on the Strategic Advisory Board for Create Common Good and was a mentor for the Idaho Youth Challenge Academy.
Michelle and her husband of 13 years Michael, and black lab Stanley love to spend time in the outdoors. Most weekends she flees city life for Idaho’s beautiful mountains. You can often find her on or near a river with a great book – all genres welcome, especially science fiction.
