Kelley Curtis is the VP & Chief Pharmacy Officer for St. Luke’s Health System. St. Luke’s is Idaho’s largest employer and most awarded health system, with a medical staff of over 1,800 physicians and advanced practice providers. Made up of eight hospitals around central and southern Idaho. It is the only locally owned and operated, physician-led, not-for-profit health system in the state. Kelley leads the pharmacy program for all areas of the health system including acute care, ambulatory care, outpatient and specialty pharmacy services as well as the pharmacy benefit for the employees. She has had strategic oversight of this program since September 2017. In the past 6 years she has led the expansion of key pharmacy programs and implemented innovative strategies that have resulted in improving the quality and safety of patient care and generating new revenue streams and savings for the organization.
Kelley has been a health system pharmacy leader for the past 20 years and has had the privilege to work in multiple integrated delivery network health systems during her career. As a health system leader of pharmacy in diverse hospital systems, Kelley has contributed to growth and profitability while ensuring outstanding quality of the overall pharmacy operation while improving medication safety.
Kelley obtained her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and went on to receive her Masters of Business Administration at Suffolk University followed by her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from St. John’s University. Kelley is originally from Massachusetts but her career has moved her to OH, TN, CO and then to Idaho where she has resided these past 5+ years.
Kelley has 2 amazing daughters, Sophia, 17 and Aniston, 14. Kelley sits on the American Heart Association Go Red Executive Leadership Board, she also sits on the board as the President for the Meridian Medical Arts Charter High School Health Occupations student association.
